Secondly...
Mwa ha ha... I have a new project... kekekek. I'm excited
About Me
* If a thumbnail catches your attention enough for you to take a look at it, then it's probably worth commenting on. Even the smallest comments go a long way for people - especially the ~'s that aren't well acquainted with this site.
* My stance on favs: My favs hold less value than my comments. I put more time and care into commenting than I do with clicking the little +fav button. While I understand the +fav is a nice rewarding compliment, I feel that communities turn this reward into a "hates me/standards are too high/only favs friends" kind of ordeal. To me, +favs are simply for my own reference/collection in the "My Favorites" account page. I collect +fav walls that hold a special appeal to me, not based on skill, but just because the wall holds a unique appeal to my tastes. Think of it as something as trivial as "favorite color" or "favorite TV show."
* Why am I so obsessed with the "~" symbol? Because I've always held a negative perspective on people using "." at the end of their sentences haha. I think sometimes the period just seems so assertive while the squiggly just seems so much more flowy and nicer. Example? "Nice job." "Nice job~" The tone is different, yes?
* I'm always open to continue discussing walls in PMs, IMs, or on UPs. While my activity on this site is sporadic, I will always try my best to get back to you on things :)
* If you need advice/help/suggestions, feel free to ask. Again, I can't guarantee a quick response but I will try my best to help you!
* When people do comment on your work or +fav it, try to thank them. I'm not saying go to each UP and say "thanks"... It's just that people don't get thanked enough in life. If they give you a nice gesture, why not try to return it if you have the time to do so?
* Don't under-appreciate the devs, mods, and admins here. There's a lot more things that happen behind the scenes that builds up the effectiveness and success of this site.

Even before I registered. I was lurking AP for around 3-6 months before I made an account to favorite wallpapers. AP has grown A LOT. I only wish I was involved in the community since then. ^^
Yea, the leaves look like donuts, as mentioned by asa. lol
Hmm more contrast on her...where would you like? Most of her is underwater, so there's a lot of dull blue covering her.
Lol yay ruffles! Surprisingly I think they took the least amount of time to paint, only like 3 layers. D:
I remember my long break from walling. I always wanted to do another wallpaper. The amount of started and incomplete projects slowly increased. I do not remember them all but I did a lot of line work.
The break was something I needed. I was really bummed out my wallpaper before it was really bad in terms of score. Being as excited as I was back then it was a huge blow. I went back to just lurking AP and learning from other wallpapers. There were a lot of mistakes I found in my own wallpapers and took note. Then after a while I watched Ga-rei Zero with my friend and really loved the anime.
Combining all those little things and passion I was able to push myself to complete a wallpaper. I had done every single detail down to a bolt and tiny hair strand shadow. My friend kept teasing me about "no way you made this" and how it looked like a movie poster.
Sometimes I look back at my wallpapers and look through them all. I improved so much without regularly releasing wallpapers. It was like I had a eureka moment.
I am just hoping that I inspire other people who started walling never to give up. As I was inspired also by wall artists like vitaamin, Nysha, and grayserg. Even someone like me who started off with not-so-great vectoring skills can become substantially better with patience and practice.
Thanks for the comment, favorite, and maybe reading my long rant lol.
...which means i should really catch up on the episode i missed in order to finish my wall, lol.
even more reason to add you lol
NOW. i shall go to sleep like i said i would in my PM. seriously this time, not like the 5 billion other times in the past four hours.
Life has been busy as always. In my spare time I've been watching a lot of anime and manga though... I'm a bit behind on the times, but recently I just finished D. Gray Man and I was so upset when it ended.
I HATE THE TREND OF MAKING ANIME LONG BEFORE THE MANGA IS FINISHED!
The anime usually never ends properly (or at all) this way
I see in your blog you wrote you're working on a new project. I can hardly wait!
Take care and keep in touch~
PS: It's awesome that you're a House MD fan! It's one of two TV shows I actually make an effort to watch! ::high five::
